Job summary

Mercy College of Ohio is seeking a Principal Faculty for the PA program to deliver didactic, clinical, and laboratory instruction and to oversee student assessment. The role includes curriculum planning, accreditation activities, and program development in alignment with MCO policy.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree (PA or related field) with PA licensure or eligibility in Ohio and NCCPA certification, plus experience in higher education or clinical teaching.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree (Masters) required.
• Specialty/Major: Physician Assistant or terminal degree in relevant field.
• Post Graduate Degree (PhD) preferred.
• PA licensure or eligibility in Ohio; NCCPA Certification preferred for PA track.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction; manages courses and student assessment.
• Contributes to program accreditation activities and curriculum development.
• Promotes the PA program to prospective students and engages in admissions activities.
• Maintains currency with trends in PA education and practice; participates in professional development.
• Engages in college service and committees as assigned.
