Escape Velocity Entertainment is seeking a Lead Outsourcing VFX Artist to guide high-quality AAA VFX for gameplay cosmetics and narrative-driven visuals. You will shape visual direction with the VFX team and directors, and oversee outsourced partners to meet schedules and quality targets.

The role emphasizes training partners, optimizing pipelines, and maintaining strong communication across teams. Fully remote work with global collaboration and industry-leading tools.

Qualifications

• Experience managing outsourced VFX teams.
• Strong familiarity with external development workflows.
• Ability to train and unblock outsourcing partners.
• Excellent collaboration with directors and VFX team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and implement high-quality AAA VFX to support gameplay-driven VFX cosmetics for characters and items.
• Establish visual direction and technical guidelines with directors and the VFX team.
• Train and unblock outsourcing partners, provide best practices and samples, and support production schedules.
• Generate answers quickly to resolve ambiguity, champion sustainable practices.
