The candidate will supervise mechanics, coordinate with pipe, machinery, electrical, and vent trades, and ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met while aligning with the BOS framework.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in machinery related field.
• Solid understanding of shipbuilding.

Responsibilities

• Champion BIW safety culture and enforce standards.
• Oversee Plan of the Week (POW) execution and coordinate resources.
• Monitor quality of work and ensure first-time quality.
• Provide technical guidance to mechanics and mentor team.
• Participate in BOS principles and continuous improvement.
