Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license and insurability by district insurance.

• Evening and weekend work hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead worker on assigned tasks.
• Provide reader guidance and reference help using online resources and databases.
• Organize, index, and maintain records, databases, and files.
• Review library materials and recommend purchases to a librarian.
• Drive and operate bookmobiles and other library vehicles.
• Operate PCs, peripherals, and basic office equipment.
• Explain library procedures and policies to patrons and staff.
• Plan, schedule, and host program sessions; design and produce materials.
• Load materials onto bookmobile; shelve and reshelve materials.
• Operate and assist patrons with library equipment.
• Ensure patron compliance with policies through effective communication.
• Perform related duties as required.
