Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a Lead Cashier to supervise the cashier team and interact professionally with customers, management, and co-workers. The role combines supervisory duties with hands-on store upkeep, floor maintenance, and stocking tasks on a daily basis.

The Lead Cashier will guide cashiers, ensure shelves are fully stocked, and maintain a clean, inviting store environment while supporting the broader Cherokee Nation Entertainment hospitality and gaming operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional status with customers, management, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers and guide daily operations.
• Assist customers courteously and help on the floor.
• Stock shelves and keep shelves fully stocked.
• Maintain clean counters, windows, doors, and shelf tops.
• Sweep floors, remove trash, and clean restrooms as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

The Lead Cashier guides the work of others, providing daily supervision to the cashier team while maintaining professional interfaces with customers, management, and co-workers . In addition to supervisory duties, this role requires hands-on involvement in daily store upkeep, floor maintenance, and stocking tasks .

Responsibilities

• Services customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Performs daily supervision, leadership, and guidance of Cashiers.
• Stocks shelves, ensuring all retail shelves are completely filled.
• Cleans and maintains counter tops, fronts of counters, windows, doors, and tops of shelves.
• Sweeps all tile floors outside of doors and walkways, and removes all trash from the parking lot and stockroom.
• Mops all tile floors, cleans restrooms, restocks all paper products, and empties/replaces all trashcans.
• Performs other job-related duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent .
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience .
• Ability to maintain a professional status and working relationship with customers, management, and co-workers .
• Must be comfortable working primarily in indoor climate conditions .
