Job summary

Creekside Behavioral Health in Knoxville, TN seeks a Lead Therapist - Outpatient (with TN licensure) to join our multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapy, discharge planning, and program development to support patients and families.

Responsibilities include treatment planning, coordinating services, crisis intervention, and maintaining compliant clinical records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required.
• At least one year of experience as a therapist with all age groups.
• Clinical interviewing and assessment using the DSM.
• Ability to assess, plan and implement therapeutic social work services in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Knowledge of social work principles and welfare programs; ability to mobilize resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plan.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate services.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions per treatment plan.
• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to treat emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Maintain clinical documentation per regulatory and accrediting standards.
