Qualifications

• 2 years of recent Clinic and/or Outpatient Coding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT, Coding Guidelines.
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as a coding resource for clinic and outpatient coders.
• Code diseases and procedures using ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• Assist manager with payroll, coder assignments, and annual reviews.
• Ensure accuracy of clinical data collection.
