Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking an experienced OT/ICS Systems Engineer responsible for administration, security, and continuous operation of industrial control system infrastructure across facility operations.

Responsibilities include SCADA/PLC/HMI management, cybersecurity per NIST, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and project leadership within a large industrial environment. The role supports regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and system resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience supporting and managing SCADA, industrial automation, or OT systems in a critical infrastructure or industrial environment.
• Experience leading technical teams or projects.
• Experience with formal project management methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize SCADA systems and OT infrastructure.
• Perform firmware and software upgrades, patch management, and system performance tuning.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and communications failures impacting operations.
• Maintain backup, redundancy, disaster recovery, and contingency systems.
