We Are Social in the United States is seeking an Associate Creative Director – Organic Social who can lead day-to-day creative output, guide art directors and writers, and translate strategy into engaging social content. You’ll steer campaigns from concept to execution, balancing creativity with performance.

The role requires 7+ years in creative leadership, a native understanding of social formats, and the ability to mentor junior teammates while maintaining strong client partnerships.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within an agency or internal brand team
• Proven track record of creating breakthrough social media content
• Strong understanding of native social formats across platforms (short-form video, motion, sounds)
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and teammates
• Experience guiding both visual and narrative elements on large campaigns

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day creative output, partnering with writers and designers to craft high-level campaigns and episodic content
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback to grow the team
• Own and protect the social voice across posts, scripts and captions
• Write and ideate hands-on, balancing leadership with practical contribution
• Build and maintain client relationships, defending creative directions
• Translate business needs into actionable tasks for the creative team
• Oversee transitions from concept to final craft across multiple workstreams
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of creativity and growth
