Job summary

Avangrid in Augusta, ME, invites a Lead Analyst to serve as SME for Oracle Exadata database machines. You will lead the Database & Middleware team's delivery of high-quality Oracle Exadata administration, RAC, Data Guard, and storage configuration while mentoring juniors.

This role requires strong troubleshooting, incident management, and collaboration across ITIL processes, with 24x7 on-call support and occasional US travel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years with Oracle Exadata databases and RAC.
• Oracle Exadata, storage cells, compute nodes expertise.
• Experience with OEL/RHEL/Unix and scripting.

Responsibilities

• SME for Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, and storage network config.
• Apply quarterly full-stack updates to Exadata software, Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle DB.
• Design and manage backups and disaster recovery (RMAN).
• Lead team discussions, prioritization, and architecture input.
• Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship.
