Job summary

Townsen Surgery Center - East Dallas is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse, Operating Room to join our team in Mesquite, TX. The role oversees perioperative nursing care, guides shift operations, and supervises nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The position requires a current Texas RN license, ACLS/PALS or eligible within 60 days, and at least 3 years perioperative nursing with 1 year of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Minimum 3 years perioperative nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year nursing leadership experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ACLS/PALS due within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care for all patients in the unit.
• Maintain operational flow of surgical cases.
• Supervise surgical staff and coordinate with physicians.
• Coordinate daily administrative duties and staff schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
