Job summary

Townsen Surgery Center - East Dallas is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse, PreOp PACU in Mesquite, TX. The RN must hold a Texas license and have perioperative nursing experience with leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, supervising Pre-Op and PACU activities, and ensuring safe, efficient patient care. The role requires strong leadership and communication, with accountability for staff performance and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing and Texas RN license required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications (or eligible and obtained within 60 days).
• Experience in perioperative nursing and leadership roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily nursing assignments and supervision of Pre-Op/PACU staff.
• Ensure compliance with center policies and nursing standards.
• Mentor staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
• Manage patient flow and communication among team and physicians.
