Townsen Surgery Center - East Dallas in Mesquite, TX is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse, PreOp PACU to oversee nursing and patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery setting.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, perioperative nursing experience, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety. The Charge Nurse coordinates staff, ensures policy compliance, and mentors team members while ensuring top-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas and current licensure.
• Associates Degree in Nursing.
• 3 years perioperative nursing experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or within 60 days of hire.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise nursing and patient care staff.
• Direct Pre-Op/PACU operations and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to new staff.
• Maintain nursing standards and adherence to center policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR and coordination with physicians.
• Monitor staffing and adjust assignments daily.
• Perform narcotic counts and crash cart checks.
• Deliver patient education throughout care.
