Nova Measuring Instruments is seeking an Optical Engineer to lead the optics group’s development activities for high-end optical metrology tools. You will contribute across light sources, core optical components, and sensors, participating in research, concept design, and system qualification within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a strong background in optics with experience in systematic analysis and hands-on experimentation, including mentoring and cross-discipline

Formación

• Strong background in experimental and theoretical research applied to real-world systems.
• Experience owning system-level development including architecture definition and performance analysis.
• Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for complex system data and modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Theoretical and experimental study of new system methods and algorithms.
• Define, drive, and own end-to-end implementation and validation of system solutions.
• Lead system architecture definition and performance budgeting.
• Drive cross-functional technical decisions across optics, algorithms, mechanics, and SW.
• Mentor junior engineers and researchers in system thinking and methodology.
• Hands-on tool experiments and testing in clean-room environment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver coherent system-level solutions.
• Data and statistical analysis and algorithm development.
