Eyemart Express in Redding, CA is seeking a Lead Optical Retail Sales Associate (Key Holder) to drive exceptional customer service and lead store operations. This full-time role focuses on guiding patients, managing daily tasks, and ensuring accurate prescriptions and quality eyewear dispensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; retail or customer service experience favored.
• Experience in the optical industry is preferred.
• Prior lead or management experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prescription specifications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure prescription accuracy for grinding, coating, and fitting lenses.
• Dispense completed glasses and educate patients on care.
• Open/close the store and support store operations.
• Provide exceptional service and communicate current promotions and policies.
• Process payments and refunds using the POS system.
• Perform other administrative and insurance-related tasks as assigned.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and assist in stocking merchandise.
