Qualifications

• BS or MS in telecom, optomechanical engineering, physics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-fiber module packaging, including enclosure, mounting, connection, and sealing.
• Perform packaging simulations to meet operating conditions (vibration, shock, environmental).
• Select materials considering thermal/mechanical properties and identify vendors.
• Generate specs to meet performance and cost targets.
• Develop fixtures, inspection processes, and run reliability tests for modules.
• Release design to manufacturing and lead transfer to production.
• Provide technical support and failure analysis.
