Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Corporation is seeking a Team Lead Operator on the second shift in Erie, PA. The role leads the crystal manufacturing/production area, coordinates work, and ensures assemblies meet specifications.

You will train operators, allocate tasks, and support engineers to keep production on schedule. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of hands-on assembly/electronics/testing experience, and IPC J-STD-001 certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, electronics or testing is preferred.
• IPC J-STD-001 certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train area operators under supervision.
• Allocate work and manage department workflow.
• Troubleshoot daily manufacturing and technical issues.
• Assemble products using instructions, parts lists and drawings.
• Position components and operate production machinery as needed.
• Solder/de-solder components to assemble final product.
