Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Greenville LLC is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 1st shift in Erie, PA. You will prepare quartz crystals and related materials, following production designs with hand tools and instructions to meet specifications.

You will read work instructions, use a microscope, perform quality checks, and solder/desolder as needed. The role requires good eye-hand coordination, basic math, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification for 'Requirements for Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies'
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to complete basic mathematics problems and read measuring devices to perform required assembly tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to work within a variety of Microsoft Office products and other computer software applications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per instructions, drawings, and verbal guidance.
• Position components using small hand tools.
• Use a microscope when required.
• Maintain excellent eye and hand coordination.
• Operate simple equipment occasionally.
• Concentrate on highly repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Work at various workstations as needed.
• Solder and de-solder components as part of assembly.
