Job summary

KYOCERA AVX Greenville LLC in Erie, PA is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift. The role analyzes customer demand, creates daily work orders, and balances the production line to hit due dates, while coordinating and organizing plans to reduce downtime.

You will release job orders, monitor capacity, work with operations on materials, manage inventory levels, and adjust schedules to meet customer requirements and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing planning or scheduling role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business management, or similar.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Release Job Orders and provide closeout analysis.
• Scheduling – check for capacity issues and provide feedback to planning manager/supervisors.
• Coordinate production plans to reduce inventory in process and downtime on the shop floor.
• Set and maintain min/max levels of inventory for production.
• Reschedule daily for priorities and expedites to meet customer needs.
• Forecast and make recommendations to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure on-time delivery across departments (Production, Engineering, Maintenance, QC, Materials).
• Monitor inventory accuracy and implement improvements.
