Responsibilities

• Support daily field operations and coordinate Site Technicians and project activities.
• Work with field teams to understand site operations, workflows, and requirements.
• Lead, train, and mentor Site Technicians, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Oversee daily workflow, delegate tasks, and verify completion.
• Perform and supervise cleaning, maintenance, and quality checks.
• Assist with admin tasks, including entering hours and maintaining records.
• Coordinate employee travel, per diem requests, and hotel reservations.
• Assist with purchasing equipment, supplies, and field materials.
• Track equipment, materials, schedules, and operational needs.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and admin tasks.
• Communicate schedules, travel, equipment, and operational needs to field staff and leaders.
• Provide progress updates and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning materials and tools following OSHA rules.
• Assist with training and coordination of Site Technicians.
• Develop knowledge of company operations to cover leadership when needed.

As a Lead Operations Technician, you will support bothfield operations and day-to-day administrative functions. This role is designed for someone who can work alongside field teams while learning and assisting with operational responsibilities such as timekeeping, travel coordination, per diem requests, hotel reservations, equipment purchasing, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate will develop a strong understanding of field operations and be able to provide coverage and support to leadership when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily field operations and assist with coordinating Site Technicians and project activities
• Work alongside field teams to develop a strong understanding of site operations, workflows, and project requirements
• Lead, train, and mentor Site Technicians while ensuring safety, quality, and site-specific standards are followed
• Oversee daily workflow, delegate tasks, and verify completion of assignments
• Perform and supervise cleaning and maintenance activities while conducting quality checks
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks, including entering employee hours and maintaining records
• Coordinate employee travel, including requesting per diem and reserving hotels as needed
• Assist with purchasing and coordinating equipment, supplies, and other materials needed for field operations
• Help track equipment, materials, schedules, and other operational needs

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
• Previous experience in field operations, facilities, construction, cleaning/janitorial, or a related environment
• Previous administrative, operations, scheduling, or coordination experience
• Experience with timekeeping, purchasing, travel coordination, or expense/per diem processes
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of data center environments and/or construction sites
• OSHA 10 or higher certification
• 2+ years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity
