Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training.
• Clinical Trial Professional certification from a professional society within one year in position.
• Experience with study feasibility, study activation and IRB processes, and budget negotiations/invoicing per clinical trial
• Experience coordinating screening for eligibility, initiating treatment plans, collecting/shipping specimens
• Experience interpreting medical charts and abstracting data from medical records
• Thorough knowledge of experimental protocols, data gathering, protocol design/evaluation
• Strong knowledge of investigational protocols in radiation oncology and related data management
• Proven ability to complete case report forms, both hard copy and online
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across levels and negotiate effectively

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall administration of clinical research efforts for diverse trials.
• Provide leadership to lower level clinical research coordinators and support personnel.
• Oversee protocol oversight, eligibility screening, consent review, data collection and analysis.
• Assist regulatory with submissions, renewals, and safety reports; coordinate start-up procedures.
• Communicate with assigned physicians, disease groups, and attend weekly meetings and tumor boards.
• Collaborate with Directors to review research accounts, invoicing, and budgeting.
• Coordinate research efforts with Moores Cancer Center and other departments/clinics.
• Educate and inform the public about ongoing clinical trials and regulatory requirements
