Job summary

GE Aerospace's On Wing Support Test facility in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an On Wing Support Test Technician Level 3 to direct engine prep/de-prep, inspection, troubleshooting, and test operations for GE/CFM engines. You will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and support throttle/test operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires FAA Powerplant certification, 4+ years of hands-on experience, and leadership capabilities, with potential travel to remote international locations

Qualifications

• FAA Powerplant license is required.
• 4+ years of hands-on work experience with advanced inspection and engine test equipment.
• 1+ year of leadership experience, guiding teams and driving execution.

Responsibilities

• Review work package and certify per Repair Station specs and limitations.
• Lead engine test execution and drive root cause corrective action.
• Mentor others on technical references and GE policies.
• Document work performed and maintain traceability in ERP systems.
• Operate shop equipment and support 5S/maintenance initiatives.
• Travel to remote international locations for training.
