Job summary

GE Aerospace Peebles site seeks an Engineering Test Technician to support engine disassembly, repair, test prep, and de‑prep following approved instructions. You will assist in installing engines in the test stand and setting up for test, including special or slave systems, and operate the current family of engines within published limits.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
1+ year of experience in a mechanical discipline.
Ability to use hand tools, calibrated tooling and precision measurement instruments.
Shift flexibility and availability for all shifts and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist in engine disassembly, repair, prep for test and de-prep following approved instructions.
Assist in installing engines in the test stand and setup for test, including special or slave systems.
Operate the current family of engines, following approved work requests and within published limits.
