Job summary

ECBuild in Richmond, VA is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of a $5M-$10M project on site. You will lead the on-site construction team, ensure the project timeline, quality, and safety, and coordinate with architects, engineers, inspection agencies, and Owner’s representatives to meet the project goals.

Qualifications include 5–7 years of Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent experience, OSHA 30, GMP familiarity, proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Primavera

Qualifications

• 5–7 years combined experience as Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification
• Familiarity with GMPs
• Strong time-management and attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office - Word & Excel
• Proficient with Bluebeam
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project Scheduling Software
• Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and cost-effective plans for project completion
• Delivers preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor
• Coordinates trades and on-site activities through foreperson
• Prepares construction and look-ahead schedules
• Inspects work for quality and timeliness; provides progress reports
• Coordinates with architects, engineers, inspectors, and Owner's representatives
• Ensures contract documents and codes are followed
• Obtains necessary permits
• Leads Quality Control/Quality Assurance
• Completes daily reports and ensures subcontractors' reports
• Conducts weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
• Manages project safety and mentors team
• Leads construction team and oversees Assistant Superintendent(s)
• Manages projects in the $5M-$10M range
• Performs other related duties as assigned
