Job summary

CDP Builders, the construction division of Community Development Partners, seeks a Superintendent for the Canvas Apartments in Fremont, CA. You will lead on-site construction, supervise trade contractors, enforce schedule, and ensure safety and quality across all activities.

Minimum 7 years in construction with 3 years as superintendent; LIHTC experience is a plus. OSHA10 required; OSHA30/First Aid preferred. Salary range reflects market in California for senior on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• 7+ years of construction experience, 3+ years as superintendent or equivalent.
• Experience with multifamily housing projects (50-300 units).
• Strong planning, scheduling, and on-site leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities and lead site team.
• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, and inspectors.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and productivity; enforce schedule.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and coordinate site logistics.
• Manage QA/QC, inspections, and ensure code compliance.
• Maintain daily logs, field reports, and documentation.
