Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Offensive Security Team in Los Angeles, CA. You will design and lead offensive security engagements across corporate environments, cloud projects, and mobile client applications, developing covert tooling and actionable risk mitigations.

You will collaborate with threat intel, reproduce vulnerabilities, and mentor engineers while exploring new research to strengthen defenses and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• 6+ years of post-Bachelor security experience or advanced degree equivalent.
• Experience leading offensive security engagements and coordinating multiple engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead offensive security engagements across corporate, cloud, and app environments.
• Develop and maintain offensive security tooling and implants.
• Produce detailed post-engagement reports with prioritized mitigations.
• Collaborate with threat intel and privacy teams to influence roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to incident response efforts.
• Research novel topics to improve defenses and defense-in-depth.
