Job summary

Snap’s Offensive Security Team in Los Angeles is hiring a Security Engineer (Level 5) to design and lead offensive security and privacy engagements across corporate, cloud, internal apps, and mobile clients.

The role requires expertise in OS internals, networking, cloud (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and exploit development, plus coding in Java/Python/Go, and strong incident response and threat modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading offensive security engagements and coordinating multiple engineers.
• Expert knowledge in OS internals, networking, app/mobile development, Kubernetes, and cloud infra (AWS/GCP).
• Coding proficiency in Java, Python, or Go and threat modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and lead offensive security and privacy engagements across corporate, cloud, internal apps, and mobile clients.
• Produce detailed post-engagement reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Build and operate offensive engagement infrastructure and custom implants/exploits.
• Coordinate with security teams and participate in high-stakes incident response.
