Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Offensive Security Team in Santa Clarita.

You will design and lead red, purple, and orange team exercises across corporate environments, cloud projects, internal and mobile apps, and contribute to incident response efforts. The role requires deep knowledge of OS internals, networking, cloud infrastructure, and exploit development, with a strong emphasis on threat actors and killchains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 6+ years post-bachelor security experience (or higher with advanced degree).
• Proven ability to lead offensive security engagements and coordinate teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and lead offensive security engagements across environments and apps.
• Produce post-engagement reports with findings and remediation guidance.
• Develop and manage offensive security tooling and implants for testing defenses.
• Collaborate with security and privacy teams and support incident response efforts.
• Explore novel research topics to improve security posture.
