Job summary

SB Energy, a SoftBank Group and Ares-backed infrastructure company, is seeking a Manager of supplier engineering and technical assurance for owner-furnished, contractor-installed power and cooling equipment. You will manage equipment packages across projects, ensuring delivery speed, quality, and total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities include OEM qualification, factory readiness, and developing evidence for fungibility and multi-sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in supplier engineering, OEM manufacturing, procurement engineering, or equipment validation.
• Experience leading supplier engineering or assurance teams.
• Experience recruiting specialists and managing capacity across OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier engineering and technical assurance for OFCI equipment.
• Own OEM qualification, manufacturing readiness, and test-evidence systems.
• Turn product roadmaps into supplier readiness plans and multi-sourcing.
• Travel domestically and internationally to factories, labs, and sites.
• Provide oversight across power and cooling equipment categories.
