Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to plan and conduct medically prescribed OT programs. You will supervise OTAs, rehab techs and OT/OTA students while working to restore functional independence for diverse patient populations.

The role requires Missouri OT licensure, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a full-time position at our Kansas City campus with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Missouri OT license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and conducts medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to facilitate/restore functional independence in all patient populations.
• Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehab Techs and OT/OTA students.
• Works independently; seeks supervision when necessary.
