University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to plan and implement medically prescribed therapy, aiming to restore functional independence across diverse patient populations.

The role includes supervising OT Assistants and OT/OTA students, with independent work and supervisory support as needed. Missouri license and BCLS certification are required. Work hours are 7:30AM–4:00PM, 40 hours/week.

Competenze

• Degree and graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Missouri license in Occupational Therapy.
• Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with correct body mechanics to physically manage/assist patients.
• Requires the physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, high level coordination and gross/fine motor skills.
• Must maintain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for continued employment.
