Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral, develop treatment plans, and oversee therapy services under physician direction.

You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, document progress and discharge planning, and coordinate durable medical equipment with the health team. California license required; Casamba and Point Click Care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of California.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Masters/ Doctorate preferred.
• Experience with Casamba and Point Click Care is preferred.
• Ability to read and apply policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral.
• Develop effective treatment plans and obtain physician approval.
• Treat patients according to the physician plan and supervise therapy staff.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides.
• Record evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge documentation.
• Participate in care conferences and program trainings.
• Coordinate durable medical equipment for patient mobility.
