Job summary

Marathon Health seeks a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational health and acute primary care for employees at designated Marathon Health Centers. The role includes overseeing clinical staff, following HIPAA, and coordinating with clients and vendors to deliver high-quality care.

The candidate will perform physical exams, interpret test results, prescribe treatments, and manage preventive health services.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
Nurse Practitioner certification and state license.
Board certification in a designated medical specialty.
DEA certification and BLS/ALS/First Aid/CPR certifications.
2+ years of internal medicine or occupational medicine experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design and management of health center programs and policies.
Administrate as a clinical team leader overseeing MA, LPN, RN.
Provide medical primary care to employees at Marathon Health centers.
Review and record patient histories, findings, and prescriptions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and determine treatment.
Provide wound care, suturing, and other therapeutic procedures as needed.
Coordinate with employer regarding illnesses, injuries, and workers’ compensation policies.
