Job summary

Medical Faculty Associates, Inc. is seeking a Lead Sonographer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations and procedures.

You will become proficient in the ultrasound system used by the department and contribute to teaching students and residents. The role requires 2+ years of Ultrasound Technologist experience, ARDMS credentials, and FMF first-trimester NT certification within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Current and valid ARDMS certification.
• FMF first-trimester nuchal translucency certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up ultrasound and procedure equipment; position patient appropriately for gynecologic examinations and procedures.
• Set up ultrasound equipment for obstetric examinations and procedures; perform studies including biometry and fetal wellbeing assessments.
• Generate reports on examinations and procedures and ensure they are sent to the referring physician.
