The role requires strong expertise in SDLC, CI/CD, resiliency, and security, with a focus on delivering trusted technology for the firm’s financial services

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools with validation for correctness, performance, and security
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services IT landscape
• Practical cloud native experience

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to tackle non-routine problems
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operational outcomes
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation value
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and applicability
• Owns architecture and multi-quarter roadmap for a multi-service observability platform on Kubernetes
• Designs the data layer end to end: schema and query design against distributed SQL and Oracle datasets
• Defines the observability model, metrics/logs/traces, and signals
• Serves as the senior technical voice to leadership, translating requirements into engineering work
