Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Observability Platform Architect to own the architecture of a large-scale observability platform and guide engineers building it. You will define instrumentation strategy, entity models, and automation driven by AI agents, across multiple environments.

This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities and a strong focus on production excellence. You will design and implement the platform on Dynatrace, Grafana, and ServiceNow Event Management, ensure

Competenze

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years owning an enterprise observability or APM platform.
• 2+ years leading engineers and setting technical direction.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex queries against observability data (DQL/PromQL).
• Experience replacing manual platform work with automation, including alerting/triage/remediation.
• Experience using AI in operations and with AI assistants/LLMs.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering.

• Translate priorities into the platform's technical plan and set architecture direction.
• Architect and build the observability platform across environments and integrations.
• Maintain platform health with upgrades, budgeting, and escalation handling.
• Drive OpenTelemetry adoption and automation via CI/CD pipelines.
