Job summary

Jobot, a well-established New York City general contractor, seeks a Residential Construction Site Supervisor to oversee high-end renovations, restorations, and ground-up projects across Manhattan and surrounding boroughs.

You will manage daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, review drawings and schedules, enforce safety, and ensure workmanship meets our standards. This is a hands-on role with a competitive salary and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction supervision experience.
• Strong background in high-end residential renovations or custom home construction.
• Experience managing projects in New York City strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, millwork, finishes, mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and general building practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across assigned residential construction sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, vendors, deliveries, and inspections.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure work meets design and quality standards.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to project management.
• Identify field issues early and help develop practical solutions.
• Maintain short-term schedules and keep subcontractors accountable.
• Coordinate work with architects, designers, engineers, building management, and clients.
• Enforce site safety requirements and maintain clean, organized job sites.
• Document daily progress, manpower, deliveries, delays, and completed work.
• Manage punch lists and support projects through final completion and turnover.
