Job summary

Thea Energy seeks a Lead Mechanical CAD & PLM Engineer to own the top-level assembly configuration and enforce CAD/PLM standards. You will manage Siemens NX and Teamcenter activities, drive interfaces, and govern release workflows, aligning with ISO 9001 requirements.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with systems engineering and subassembly teams, ensuring data integrity, training, and scalable processes as Thea Energy scales its fusion energy programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years in mechanical design and CAD with ownership of top-level assemblies.
• Hands-on experience administering PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia).
• Ability to coordinate across engineering disciplines and manage interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own top-level assembly configuration from concept to production.
• Coordinate subassemblies and maintain interfaces and naming conventions.
• Track and resolve configuration drift and design intent.
• Administer Teamcenter, oversee upgrades and licensing.
