Job summary

Atlas Rehabilitation and Healthcare at Daughters of Miriam Campus is seeking a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) to supervise and coordinate nursing care for residents. The role includes supervising staff, administering treatments and medications, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

You will participate in at-risk, clinical, QAPI, safety, and care plan meetings, and share on-call duties with other supervisors. You will also investigate incidents, write care plans, perform nursing assessments, and

Qualifications

Active nursing license (LPN or RN) required.
Experience supervising nursing staff.
Experience administering medications.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to participate in on-call and meetings.
Ability to perform nursing assessments.

Responsibilities

Provides direct supervision and monitoring of the nursing care given to residents.
Provides leadership and guidance to the nursing staff.
Provides treatments and medications for residents.
Attends and participates in at-risk meetings, morning clinical meetings, QAPI meetings, safety meetings, and care plan meetings.
Shares on-call responsibilities with other supervisory staff and provides direct care as necessary.
Investigates accidents and incidents related to residents and staff.
Writes and reviews care plans identifying problems/needs, care to be given, goals, and updates.
Conducts nursing assessments.
Reviews resident change in condition daily for follow up and interventions.
Complies with HIPAA rules and ensures staff compliance.
Initiates disciplinary action as necessary for staff.
Participates in annual survey and/or complaint survey processes.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
