Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Lead Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative to oversee NOS staff across units. You’ll train teammates, coordinate shift assignments, and ensure coverage while guiding patients, visitors, and Mission Partners with information and way-finding.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in nursing operations support or similar, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft software. Knowledge of ProNet, Vocera, and Epic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED
• Experience: 1 year in Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative, Patient Care Liaison, or Patient Experience Concierge role, or similar responsibilities.
• Licensure/ Certification: N/A
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and oversight for NOS Representatives across units.
• Maintain schedules and staffing coverage by assigning work and coordinating shifts.
• Assist with patient transport needs and provide wayfinding and information support.
• Act as resource and subject matter expert for Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members.
