Job summary

Peak Health Institute in Warrenville, IL, seeks a Lead Nurse Practitioner / Clinical Team Lead to oversee hormone optimization, GLP-1 weight management programs, and regenerative medicine services. This full-time, in-person role supports a multidisciplinary team and prioritizes patient-centered care.

You will review labs, develop individualized treatment plans, and elevate complex cases to the Medical Director while mentoring nursing staff and guiding clinical workflows as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner eligible to practice in Illinois.
• Experience in hormone replacement/optimization and GLP-1-based weight management is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of metabolic health, nutrition, body composition, and lifestyle medicine.

Lead Nurse Practitioner / Clinical Team Lead

Full-Time | In-Person | Warrenville, IL

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients seeking hormone optimization — women's and men's hormone health, perimenopause, menopause, testosterone management, and related metabolic changes.
• Evaluate and manage patients in medically supervised weight-loss programs, with an emphasis on GLP-1-based treatment, nutrition, body composition, and long-term weight maintenance.
• Participate in regenerative and musculoskeletal services, including joint injections, depending on training and experience.
• Perform initial clinical intake for patients with complex health concerns (chronic inflammatory illness, Lyme disease, mold-related illness, Long COVID, autoimmune conditions) and facilitate a smooth transition to the appropriate Peak provider.
• Serve as a day-to-day clinical resource for the nursing and patient-care team, including oversight and support for patients receiving IV therapies and other in-office treatments.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other providers to maintain consistent clinical standards and identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient care.
• Support the onboarding and clinical development of nursing and provider team members as the practice grows.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner eligible to practice in Illinois (additional state licensure may be discussed as the clinic grows).
• Experience in hormone replacement/optimization and GLP-1-based weight management strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of metabolic health, nutrition, body composition, and lifestyle medicine.
• Functional or integrative medicine experience preferred.
• Experience with joint injections, regenerative medicine, or IV/infusion-based care is a plus.
• Comfortable reviewing labs, developing individualized treatment plans, and recognizing when to elevate to the Medical Director.
• Excellent communication and patient-education skills, and comfort collaborating across a multidisciplinary team.
• Organized, dependable, and able to balance scheduled patient care with day-to-day clinical leadership.
