Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Nurse Leader to plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care for an oncology unit at the Flagler Office. You will coordinate staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and implement emergency procedures as needed.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, OCN preferred, 2+ years in hematology/oncology, strong leadership, and clear English communication. Travel to clinics may be required; BLS/ CPR compliance is expected within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Florida.
• OCN certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of hematology/oncology clinic or hospital experience.
• Fluency in English with strong written and spoken communication and leadership skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Position Summary: Plan, direct, and evaluate the overall nursing care and functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Florida;
• Certification of OCN, preferred.
• At least two years of experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is required.
• Position also requires fluency in the English language well as excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
