Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an experienced registered nurse to lead nursing care in the Flagler Office. You will plan, direct, and evaluate patient care while coordinating unit activities and supervising nurses and technicians.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, oncology experience, and current CPR/BLS certification. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential to ensure high-quality cancer care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Position Summary: Plan, direct, and evaluate the overall nursing care and functions.
• Coordinate the activities of the unit and direct, organize, and assign work to the nurses and pharmacy technicians.
• Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care.
• Institute emergency procedures as necessary.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Florida;
• Certification of OCN, preferred.
• At least two years of experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is required.
• Position also requires fluency in the English language well as excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid Florida driver's license for travel to clinics.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
