Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Power Studies Engineer to advance electrical power system studies across multiple facilities, including nuclear and data centers. The role offers mid-level, senior, or principal paths with leadership opportunities and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• MS in a relevant topic of electrical engineering is preferred.
• Experience working in the nuclear power industry is preferred.
• Maintains an active PE license or planning to obtain in near future.
• Mid-Level requires 3+ years of experience performing electrical studies.
• Senior Level requires 6+ years of experience performing electrical studies.
• Experience evaluating large scale power systems following NEC/IEEE/IEC/NERC.
• Experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, EMTP-RV, PSCAD.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Studies & Design: Develop electrical studies and design recommendations covering small to large scale power systems for generation, manufacturing, data centers or similar facilities.
• Quality Assurance: Perform quality reviews for calculations, studies/evaluations, software models, designs, drawings, and data; maintain quality, schedule, and budget.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Direct and oversee routine and advanced technical work; provide mentorship to junior engineers.
