Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • ARRT(N), NMTCB, or ASCP(N) credential.
  • BLS certification within 14 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all healthcare services within the Nuclear Medicine Department.
  • Assist with operational, financial, and personnel management to ensure efficient department performance.
  • Provide clinical leadership to Nuclear Medicine technologists under Radiologist and Radiology Director.
  • Perform and supervise routine Nuclear Medicine procedures, maintain quality imaging standards.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation and physical safety protocols.
  • Maintain knowledge of ICANL accreditation standards.

  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
  • The Nuclear Medicine Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all healthcare services within the Nuclear Medicine Department.
  • This position assists with operational, financial, and personnel management activities to ensure efficient department performance and high-quality patient care.
  • Under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, the lead provides clinical leadership to Nuclear Medicine technologists, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • The role involves performing and supervising routine Nuclear Medicine procedures, maintaining quality imaging standards, and ensuring compliance with all radiation and physical safety protocols.
  • The lead exercises professional judgment in all aspects of work while maintaining a demeanor consistent with medical ethics and organizational values.
  • This position also maintains current knowledge of and compliance with ICANL accreditation standards to ensure ongoing accreditation and departmental excellence.
Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N).
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
