Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital invites applications for a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This on-site role blends patient care and supervision in our imaging department in Augusta, GA.

You will perform and supervise modality operations (70% patient care, 30% supervision), stay current with technology, maintain accreditation standards, and lead staff to ensure safe, high-quality imaging services. Requires ARDMS/ARRT, CNMT, NMTCB, and BCLS, plus a JRCNMT or NMTCB-accredited program.

Responsibilities

Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of nuclear medicine equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

• a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Required

Work Experience
