Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in Lusby, Maryland, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Tech to head a multi‑craft team responsible for the maintenance and repair of steam and power generation equipment, HVAC systems, auxiliary equipment, and controls.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling maintenance, risk analysis, cost control, safety assurance, and ensuring reliable operation. The Lead Maintenance Tech will spend approximately 50% of time on administrative planning and 50% on Instrumentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 5+ years power plant or industrial I&C maintenance experience or related technical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, data, operating and maintenance instructions, one-line diagrams, ladder logic, and procedure manuals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for writing work orders and conveying information.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with analytical troubleshooting techniques and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily maintenance tasks for the team.
• Provide feedback to management on team performance.
• Use Maximo to plan, schedule, track hours and report task status.
• Order parts and manage spare parts inventory.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Instrumentation & Controls systems.
• Assist in maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems as needed.
• Perform calibrations and testing of equipment and maintain custody records.
• Diagnose equipment problems and troubleshoot systems.
• Install/replacement of plant equipment and update drawings.
• Contribute to vendor sourcing for value and quality for the DC Water Cogeneration Facility.
