Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer/Staff Engineer or Engineering Technical Specialist to support nuclear licensing actions for capital projects. The role coordinates NRC communications, develops licensing strategies, and guides cross‑functional teams on complex regulatory issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to develop licensing strategies and manage significant licensing actions.
  • Strong written and oral communication, including technical writing.
  • Experience coordinating NRC communications and regulatory correspondence.
  • Leadership skills with ability to guide other engineers.
  • Understanding of NRC regulations and licensing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with NRC through NRC Project Management; serve as primary contact.
  • Develop licensing strategy and manage License Amendment Requests and ASME Code Relief Requests.
  • Coordinate NRC correspondence and Technical Specification reviews at corporate.
  • Develop and communicate licensing priorities internally and externally.
  • Manage NRC PM priorities to facilitate timely licensing approvals.
  • Keep management informed of emerging issues and progress on high priority initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage teleconferences between NRC and NBU departments.
  • Provide day-to-day licensing support to stations and other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
