Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 15+ years of direct experience, 10+ years DOE-specific safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nuclear facility safety and safety basis support for DOE facilities at Y-12 National Security Complex.
• Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and DOE standards (DOE-STD-3009-94, DOE-STD-1189-2008).
• Lead hazard identification, screening, and evaluation for nuclear facility operations and modifications.
• Perform and review accident analyses and consequence evaluations for postulated events.
• Develop, maintain, and review Safety Analysis Reports, DSAs, and TSRs.
