Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience; experience with general contractor on large-scale projects preferred.
• 4+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams
• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
• Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors
• Strong work ethic and leadership in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity
• Lead, train, and develop project team members
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues
• Lead project close-out, turnover of manuals and warranties, and final payment documents
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineering, and design firms
• Drive safety culture on the project site
• Support business development through proposals and presentations
